Weinzierl XIII A Public Housing Krems

The modern Weinzierl XIII residential construction project in Krems (Lower Austria) by the GEDESAG cooperative comprises several construction phases: A total of three residential buildings with 297 subsidised flats and two underground car parks were built. The investment totalled 15.3 million euros. In June 2022, after two years of construction, the first section was handed over with 100 subsidised flats for rent, 31 of which are "young living" flats.

 

The new solid construction consists of two underground and eight above-ground storeys and blends harmoniously into its surroundings thanks to the curved structure of the building. The largely closed and homogeneous façade to the east and north attracts everyone's attention with its rounded shape towards the street. A total of 3,000 m² of our 150/600/0.75 steel cassette profile with DU coating in RAL 912 and our 8/100/0.63 external wall cladding with Hairplus 25 coating were used.
