With its modern logistics processes and highly flexible just-in-time delivery concepts, the new KOLB logistics centre is the ideal solution for current and future market requirements. A high-bay warehouse measuring 148 metres long, 58 metres wide and 33 metres high as well as an additional 5,500 m² hall were built on a centrally located 8,400 m² site near the motorway junction. Products from all of the corrugated cardboard company's plants are now temporarily stored in these facilities.
Our tried-and-tested Pflaum® FI mineral wool panel in the colour Sky Perla 15B4 was used for this project. The special feature is the iridescent coating in the grey-violet-blue spectrum, which varies depending on the sunlight and viewing angle.
The Pflaum® FI mineral wool panel from ArcelorMittal Construction Austria is the perfect choice for a seamless façade appearance. The panels are fixed by means of special milling of the composite panels behind the ceiling shells, without any visible screw connections. The shear-resistant bond of the non-combustible mineral wool fibres inside the mineral wool panels ensures that the insulation always remains in place and does not sag. The result is a functional and contemporary façade that guarantees maximum safety and stability.
The Pflaum® FI mineral wool panel is available in many different colours and surface designs, with panel thicknesses of up to 200 mm and special construction widths of up to 1.100 mm.
